Take note of the new trends of the season … silver fever, pink quartz colour, ethnic style, high midi heels, short handle purses ….

The trends for the next spring – summer season will dye our closet of pink quartz color. It is the color revealed by the Institute Pantone as the absolute protagonist of the summer period who promises to be much more natural and luminous, being inspired in the nature and in the work of some key painters of the XXth century like Pablo Picasso or Matisse. Up to 22% of the designers of the Fashion Weeks included Rose Quartz in their presentations, and hence be the leader in terms of fashion what will become trend once begin to raise temperatures. Acabados Abellán offers different skins in this color, not a bit of sugar is included. They are combined with diverse textures such as satin, lace or denim garments.

Silver fever

Another key proposal for next summer will be those which are ‘shiny’: the glares, metallized and silver tones. This silver fever has conquered the runways, from Paris to New York, as we have seen in the proposals from signature brands such as Saint Laurent, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton or Chanel. Although it is usually associated with the most festive looks, shine with the night and treachery is going to end to make way for the outfits which are more street styled and for daytime. The metallic tones have also invaded the tanning and leather finishing: espardenyas with flashes of silver and copper, court shoes with echoes of precious metals, golden sneakers to give a touch of joy to any time of the day, jeweled sandals, court shoes with snake skin effects… The cold metals will dress our steps with flashes of light creating a wonderful contrast with the innocence of the pastel colours for this season.

Ethnic style

The ethnic trend is another must of this season. The important brands have fallen rendered before the explosion of colour and organic motifs lines which are adapted to its signs of identity: the case of Etro and its reinvention of the folk, Valentino and his immersion in the indigenous cultures or the futuristic version of Sara Burton for Alexander McQueen. The key pieces will be bags with multicolor geometric lines, shoes with creole embroidered, necklaces with eye-catching beads and accessories of tribal reminiscences.

Midi heels

After several years in which women have been rises to heartbeating heels, designers seek new paths on their road to good sence and sesibility and, why not, of comfort to find new designs. Therfore this season they return the kitten heels and midi heels that, far from becoming a fleeting trend, will be an essential item in any spring wardrobe. Since Valentino regained them in the latest collections, the 6 cm heel has become the King of the street. Balenciaga and Miu Miu followed in his footsteps and have incorporated high heels more accessible but equally evocative in their collections.

Short handle purse

As well as shoes, trends in handbags vary not only by the color, but also in form, material and the way in which they are worn. For this spring-summer 2015 season the handles on the bags are getting shorter, and now it will be the hands which will carry them, and not the shoulders. Therefore, one of the star items is the bag with short handle, so they simply must be carried by the hand or hung from the arm, thus avoiding the pressure of the weight on the back. We have seen with ultrafeminine designs in the collections of Dior, Moschino, Bimba and Lola or Liu Jo.
