A picture of luminous colors dominates the new proposal of skins of Acabados Abellán for the spring – summer 2016 season. If last winter we were to refresh the 50´s silhouette, next spring we will travel in time two decades further to claim the relaxed and feminine esthetics of the 70´s. That is to say, we will turn to high wait pants which are lightly flared and to the vaporous blouses with resounding patterns.
But the scope of the seventies for the next season will go far beyond a certain silhouette, accessories also succumb to the exaggerated proportions of the time. Also the shoulder strap handbags will be longer than ever before, either through endless straps or adding fringes. The shoes will go so high to become towering platforms, that sometimes, will also be accompanied by heels with wooden wedges or cork-soles. Within this big seventies nostalgia you will find essential splits, which are a must have of the season that Acabados Abellán includes in the items such as Tokyo.
In the summer the intense colours mark the trend of the Acabados Abellán tannery palette. It’s an evolution of more tangy pastel tones of the preceding seasons. Radiant and feminine, these tones transform style and bring a sense of freshness to the leather goods and fashion accessories.
The refreshing green ‘apple mint’ of the product Dédalo stands as one of the most novel of all. This color will be catapulted straight to the stardom because there is no garmet or purse that can resist it: it is sweet and favoring, it heightens the bronze-colored skins and it is an essential seasoning of the cocktails of the summer. Another key tone is the pink of the item Ganges that this year is dyed to an intense strawberry to offer it with a more contemporary aspect. Inside the leather palette we also emphasize as an outstanding trend our creamy papaya of the products Ademuz or Jarama. This colour is a gentle orange with a turmeric pinch, making it both fruity and spiced. It works perfectly on purses with volume.
The pattern proposal in the skins of Acabados Abellán bet the next season on simplicity, but it is a carefully elaborated product which is extremely personalized. We will give the welcome to a season of risky combinations, distant from the linearity, such as the leopard pattern mix and patent leather sheen finish of Dinka.
In the prints of the spring – summer 2016 collection reign the flower colours exquisitely stylish, the spontaneous form of outlined motives, the uncertain geometry and drawings done by a sensitive hand. In the item Davia we find a very soft cloud screenprint finish, while Eden shows a subtle drawing of petals, going on to the original picassianas printings from Urano on the square coconut or a novel engraving in the item Jarama which imitates aluminum.
